Former Lenovo VP and current ZUK CEO Chang Cheng has confirmed that the ZUK Edge smartphone will be launched next week. He made the announcement via Chinese social network Weibo where he did not reveal the exact launch date. But he posted a ZUK Edge render to tease the product’s launch.

The ZUK Edge teaser image shows the retail packaging of the smartphone which happens to be in complete Black color. It gives an impression of the premium smartphone and also shows its front and back panel.

The upcoming ZUK flagship has already received its TENAA certification which means we have we have an idea of what to expect. The ZUK Edge is expected to sport a 5.5-inch Full HD display. Under the hood, it is said to be feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with either 4GB or 6GB RAM.

On the storage front, it is said to be available in 64GB and 128GB options. The phone is also expected to have a 13MP rear shooter and an 8MP front shooter. The whole package is said to be powered by a 3000mAh battery and ship with ZUK’s own ZUI based on either Android Marshmallow or Nougat. And like every other Android flagship, it is also expected to feature a fingerprint scanner.
