Xiaomi has confirmed that it is working on the Mi MIX II which will be a successor to the original Mi MIX. The announcement was made by Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun via a post on Weibo social network.
Jun said that he is working with French designer Philippe Starck regarding the product design of the Mi MIX II. He had also worked on the design of the original Mi MIX. Both of them are also having discussions about how to bring a concept design to the reality.
While neither Xiaomi nor Jun shared any further details, the Mi MIX II is expected to feature higher screen-to-body ratio than the Mi MIX launched last year. It is also said to have no physical buttons which if turned out to be true will be the first Xiaomi smartphone without any physical button.
