Vivo India has launched its latest smartphone named Vivo V7+ at an event held in New Delhi earlier today. While it is essentially a selfie-centric smartphone with a good front camera, it is also the newest entrant to the club of smartphones featuring a bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Like other brands, Vivo has also given it a fancy name which is FullView Display.
The Vivo V7+ sports a 5.99-inch HD (1440 x 720 pixels) IPS FullView display with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, it marks the debut of the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor which is clocked at 1.8GHz and is coupled with 4GB of RAM. On the storage front, you will get 64GB of onboard storage with support for microSD cards.
The smartphone has a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash. On the front, there is a 24-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and Moonlight Glow soft selfie flash. Since it is a selfie-centric phone, you also get features like Face Beauty 7.0 and Portrait mode. There is 3325mAh battery to keep the lights on for the day and it will be running Funtouch OS 3.2 based on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box.
The Vivo V7+ has been priced at Rs. 21,990 and comes in Matte Black and Champagne Gold color options. It is currently up for pre-orders via Flipkart and Amazon India but will go on sale via both online sellers as well as offline channels starting September 15th.
