Sony Mobile has started to take registrations for the pre-orders of the Xperia X and Xperia XA smartphones in India. Both these smartphones were announced along with the Xperia Performance at the MWC 2016 event earlier this year.

The Sony Xperia X is the higher-specced variant between the two. It sports a 5-inch Full HD display. Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage. The phone has a 23MP rear shooting camera with Predictive Hybrid Autofocus and a 13MP front-facing camera. The whole package is powered by a 2620mAh battery.

On the other hand, the Xperia XA features a 5-inch HD display. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 chipset coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. You will get a 13MP camera at the back and an 8MP camera on the front. It has a 2300mAh battery to get you going for the day.

Both the phones ship with Android Marshmallow and support microSD card expansion up to 200GB.

Sony has not announced the pricing of phones for the Indian market but if you are interested in grabbing any or both of them before anyone else, you can visit dedicated registration pages for the Xperia X and Xperia XA to show your interest.
