Samsung has released a new app named Game Live which is aimed at smartphone gamers who are interested in sharing their gameplay with the world. The app basically makes it easier and faster to live stream one’s gaming sessions to almost anyone on the planet with the help of just a few taps. It comes with integrations with popular live streaming platforms Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook.
Once you have the Game Live app installed on your smartphone, all you need to do is to launch and create a profile to get started where you can either have a profile photo or profile video. The next step is to choose the game you want to live stream followed by the streaming service where you want to stream. You can easily details related to your stream like the feed’s name, your display name, and the streaming quality.
Samsung has mentioned that users can live stream game videos up to 4GB in size or “around 200 minutes at high quality.” It goes without saying that the duration of the live stream limit will get longer as you will lower down the quality. The app further allows you to save your live streaming sessions to phone’s storage for offline viewing or sharing later.
At the moment, it is unknown which of the Samsung Galaxy devices are compatible with the app but you can surely count on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ to run the app. There is also a speculation that it should work fine on any Galaxy device running Android 6.0 Marshmallow or higher. But your best bet will be to grab the APK from the link below (via APK Mirror) and give it a shot on your device. If you happen to have a non-Samsung device, the app is quite unlikely to run on it but you can still try.
