After much rumors and speculations, Samsung has finally launched the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 variant under the name of the Galaxy Note Fan Edition. As it is not hard to guess, the re-launched Galaxy Note variant has been made using the parts of the infamous Galaxy Note 7 lineup from the last year.
The major difference in the newer Galaxy Note Fan Edition is that it features a smaller 3200mAh battery, unlike the 3500mAh battery which came loaded with the original Galaxy Note 7. And as the older phablet was notoriously famous for catching fire which was found to because of the battery issue and with the newer model, Samsung is claiming 8-point battery safety test along with multiple safety designs.
Other than this, the Galaxy Note Fan Edition features “Fan Edition” branding on the back panel which differentiates it from the original doomed variant. All other features and product design for the new Galaxy Note edition are same as the older one. In terms of availability, Samsung has said only 400,000 units of the Galaxy Note Fan Edition will be made available in South Korea for 699,600 Won (about $611/Rs. 39,500) each but there are no words on the international release yet. If interested, you will be able to buy it in Blue, Black, Gold, and Silver color variants.
