The Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is now receiving then Android 7.1.1 Nougat update in India. It is an OTA update which means you should receive the notification as soon as it becomes available on your device. You can also look for it manually by going to Settings->About Device->Software Update. The update weighs over 1.4GB in size which is the reason we would suggest you connect to a WiFi before starting the download.

Other than the newer Android version, the update also replaces the old and slow TouchWiz skin with the newer and better Samsung Experience 8.5 UI. This is the first major Android software update for the Galaxy C9 Pro which was launched with Android 6.0 Marshmallow earlier this year. It is the first Samsung smartphone to feature 6GB RAM and was released at Rs. 36,900 but since then, it has been dropped to Rs. 29,900.
