Panasonic India has launched two new entry-level smartphones in India named Eluga Ray 500 and Eluga Ray 700. Both these phones are aimed at delivering a better photography experience and a longer battery backup to users at an affordable price. You will also find the company’s own ARBO AI digital assistant on both phones.
Panasonic Eluga Ray 500 Specifications and Pricing:
Starting with the Panasonic Eluga Ray 500, it is the first phone from the company to feature a dual camera setup. It has a 13-megapixel camera paired with an 8-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide angle lens camera along with LED flash on the back panel. On the front, it has a 5-megapixel camera for taking selfies.
Other specs include a 5.5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass. It has the quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor clocked at 1.25GHz and coupled with 3GB of RAM. You will get 32GB of internal storage (expandable via microSD card) and a 4000mAh battery. It will be shipping with stock Android 7.0 Nougat and has been priced at Rs. 8,999 with availability exclusively via Flipkart.

As for the Panasonic Eluga Ray 700, it has a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, it has the 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage (microSD cards supported).
It has a 13-megapixel Sony IMX258 sensor with phase detection autofocus on the back and a 13-megapixel camera with LED flash on the front. The whole package is powered by a 5000mAh battery and will be running stock Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It has been priced at Rs. 9,999 and is also a Flipkart exclusive.
