One of the best-looking mid-range smartphones of the last year, the OnePlus X has received its first permanent price cut in India. The phone was launched at a price of Rs. 16,999 for the Onyx variant and is now available for Rs. 14,999. You can get the phone for the reduced price from Amazon India straight away with no need of any promo code or going through any extra steps.

However, if you are interested in the Champagne or Ceramic variants of the OnePlus X, then you will have to pay the regular Rs. 16,999 and Rs. 22,999 respectively for the moment.

The OnePlus X was launched by OnePlus last year as it first-ever mid-range device. The phone sports a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display. Under the hood, it has a 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset coupled with 3GB RAM. There is a 13MP rear shooter and an 8MP front-shooter. The phone offers 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

The whole package is powered by a 2525mAh battery and runs on OxygenOS based on Android Lollipop v5.1.1. Other than this, the phone has a metallic frame along with glass on the both the front and the back. It also features the Alert Slider which we first saw on the OnePlus 2 smartphone.
