The Moto X Style is the latest Motorola smartphone to have started to receive the taste of Android’s latest major release. The 2015 Android flagship is now receiving Android Nougat 7.0 update via OTA which upgrades it from its previous Marshmallow version. While it will bring all those cool features which come with Nougat release and May 2017 security patch, it will also pre-install Google Duo video calling app on your device. This is something we have seen in previous Motorola Nougat updates as well.

As it is an OTA update, it is for sure that not everyone will be receiving it at the same time. Some users’ device will pick it up sooner than others but you can always look for it manually. To do so, you simply need to visit Settings -> About device -> Software update.

Once you have received the update, make sure to connect to WiFi to avoid any unwanted data charges. You should also check that your Moto X Style has at least 50% battery left so that you don’t run into any issues.
