Motorola has now launched the Moto G5S and G5S Plus smartphones in India at an event held earlier today. Both these smartphones are “Special Edition” of the existing Moto G5 family and were first introduced earlier this month. As you would expect, these smartphones come with improvements over the Moto G5 family and it is their pricing which makes them worth the consideration. It is worth mentioning that Motorola has now offered a new price cut to the Moto G5 Plus.

Moto G5S Plus Specifications, Pricing, and Availability:

Starting with the Moto G5S Plus, the major upgrade over here is that it features 13-megapixel dual rear cameras with f/2.0 aperture where one is an RGB sensor and another one is a monochrome sensor. It merges shots taken by both lenses to offer a better and sharper photo to you. It is also capable of shooting 4K videos at 30fps. On the front, you will have an 8-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture, LED flash, and wide-angle lens.

Other specs include a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2.0GHz. The next offering from Motorola is the Moto G5S which is an improved version of the Moto G5 with major improvements in the display and camera department. The Moto G5S sports a bigger 5.2-inch Full HD IPS display and has the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor. It offers 4GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage and also supports microSD cards for storage expansion. There is a 16-megapixel rear shooter with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front shooter with f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.

It has a 3000mAh battery with support for TurboPower fast charging and runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat. You will also get NFC and fingerprint scanner with the smartphone. Motorola has priced the Moto G5S at Rs. 13,999 and will be made available via both Amazon India and Moto Hub stores in Fine Gold and Lunar Grey color options.

It is worth mentioning that Motorola has already confirmed that both Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus will be upgraded to Android Oreo.
