Motorola is scheduled to launch the fifth generation of Moto G series at MWC event in Barcelona. While we have heard a lot of rumors about the upcoming mid-rangers, this is the first time we have come across full specifications details of the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. These details were leaked by a Spanish retailer Ktronix accidentally but the listing has now been removed.
Moto G5 Plus specifications leak:
Starting with the Moto G5 Plus, it will sport a 5.2-inch Full HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, it will be having an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with 2GB RAM. There will be a 12MP rear camera with dual autofocus pixels and a 5MP front camera. The phone will offer 64GB of internal storage with support for microSD card up to 128GB.
The whole package will be powered by a 3000mAh battery with TurboPower charging. It will be running Android Nougat 7.0 out of the box. There will also be fingerprint scanner and NFC along with water repellent coating. It will be coming in Fine Gold and Lunar Grey color options.
Moto G5 specifications leak:
The Moto G5 will be the smaller variant between two. It will sport a 5-inch Full HD display and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, it will have an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with 2GB RAM. It will have a 13MP camera on the back and a 5MP camera on the front. The phone will have a 32GB model with microSD card support up to 128GB.
It will be having a 2800mAh battery (removable) with Rapid charging and ship with Android Nougat 7.0. Other features will include a fingerprint scanner and water repellent coating but no NFC support. It will also come in Fine Gold and Lunar Grey color variants.
