Lenovo-owned Motorola is currently preparing for the release of its entry-level E series’ next iteration devices, Moto E4 and Moto E4 Plus. Both of these smartphones have been a part of the rumor mill for quite some time now but it is the first time, we are having a look at the real life images.
This Moto E4 Plus real life images leak has been shared by TechDroider which shows the smartphone in all its glory. The first thing that you will notice right off the bat is that Motorola has stuck with the design language which we saw with the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus. You can see that there is the same circular camera sensor design with a ring. There is Motorola batwing logo below the camera.
The good thing is that the Moto E4 Plus has a removable back panel which should be helpful when you might want to replace or remove the battery for any reason. Since the back is removable, Motorola decided to place the SIM and microSD card slot inside the panel like in the older days.
On the front panel, you can notice similarities with the Moto G5 again. There is pill-shaped button on the front which seems to be just the physical home button. We are highly skeptical that Motorola will use a fingerprint scanner for the E series.
As for the rumored specifications, the Moto E4 Plus is said to feature a 5.5-inch HD display. Under the hood, it is expected to run on MediaTek MT6737M chipset with 2GB and 3GB RAM option. There could be a 13MP rear shooter with LED flash and a 5MP front shooter with its own LED flash.
The phone is said to offer 16GB internal storage and run Android Nougat 7.1.1 out of the box. The USP of the Moto E4 Plus is said to be its huge 5000mAh battery which last you for at least one and half day with ease.
