Xiaomi has now announced the availability details of MIUI 9 global beta ROM starting with Redmi Note 4, Redmi Note 4X, and Mi 6. The release has been started within a couple of weeks of the launch of MIUI 9 China ROM which is meant for the users from China. The aforementioned devices are the first ones to receive an update for global ROM and as for remaining ones, they will be getting the same in coming months.
Xiaomi has actually divided all of the eligible devices into three batches. The first batch includes the three phones mentioned above and as for the second batch, it comprises of Mi MIX, Mi Note 2, Mi 5, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, Mi Max 2, Mi Max, Redmi 4, and Redmi 4X. This will be followed by the third and last batch which includes Redmi 2, Redmi 2 Prime, Mi 3, Mi 4, Redmi Note 3 Qualcomm, Redmi Note 3 Special Edition, Redmi Note 4 MTK, Mi 4i, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note Prime, Mi 2/2S, Mi Note, Redmi 3, Redmi 3 Prime, Redmi 3S, Redmi 3S Prime, and Redmi 4A.
There is no information regarding exact release dates for these devices but we will keep you updated as Xiaomi will continue to share more details.
