The LG Q6 is the latest mid-range offering from LG Mobile India which was made officially available in the country today. It is basically a trimmed down version of the flagship LG G6 and was originally introduced last month alongside the LG Q6+ and LG Q6a. There are no words on the launch of the other two models in the country at the moment.
The USP of the LG Q6 is the 5.5-inch Full HD (2160 x 1080 pixels) FullVision display which offers an aspect ratio of 18:9 (basically 2:1). It simply means that the display is taller and users get to see more content within the same and relatively smaller body. It also curved edges which help in offering an immersive media consumption experience. It is worth mentioning that the smartphone features the highest display resolution within this price range.
Other than the display, the LG Q6 is a pretty standard smartphone with not-so-exciting specifications. The smartphone houses the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM. It has a 13-megapixel single rear shooter and a 5-megapixel front shooter. On the storage front, you will get 32GB onboard storage with support for microSD cards. The whole package is powered by a 3000mAh battery and ships with Android 7.1.1 Nougat.
The LG Q6 has been priced at Rs. 14,990 which makes it slightly expensive for what it has to offer as an overall package. It has been made available in Astro Black, Terra Gold, and Ice Platinum color options. It is now available for purchase exclusively via Amazon India.
