As promised by Lenovo, the ZUK Z1 smartphone has been launched in India. While the phone has made its entry to the Indian market now, it was originally announced last year in China. It does mean that the ZUK Z1 has slightly older specifications but the good thing is that Lenovo has priced it accordingly at Rs. 13,499 (about $202) which still makes it a good deal.

The Lenovo ZUK Z1 sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1080p resolution. Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM. There is a 13MP rear shooter with optical image stabilization and an 8MP front-facing camera. You will get 64GB of internal storage with no support for microSD cards.

The whole package is powered by a 4100mAh battery and it ships with CyanogenOS 12.1 based on Android Lollipop v5.1.1. Lenovo has said that the phone would also receive an update to latest Android Marshmallow. The phone also features a fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port.

The ZUK Z1 will be available exclusively via Amazon India starting May 19th at 2 PM IST.
