Lenovo has launched its flagship smartphone, the Lenovo Vibe X3 in India for a price of Rs. 19,999. It will be available for purchase starting 2 PM IST on January 28 exclusively via Amazon India. The phone was first unveiled last year in China and is the second launch of 2016 for Lenovo in India. It has already launched the Vibe K4 Note earlier.
The Lenovo Vibe X3 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood, the phone has a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM. There is a 21MP camera at the back which features LED flash, phase detection autofocus, 4k video recording support, and f/2.0 aperture. On the front, you will get an 8MP camera. It comes with 32GB of storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
Lenovo has also focused on providing the best possible audio experience with the phone. The Vibe X3 features dual Dolby Atmos speakers on the front. For headphone output, it has a premium 32-bit ESS Sabre 9018C2M DAC and as for handling audio calls, it features Cirrus Logic Wolfson WM8281 audio hub.
The Vibe X3 has a fingerprint scanner at the back of the device. The whole package is powered by a 3000mAh battery and will be shipping with VIBE UI based on Android Lollipop v5.1. It also supports Lenovo’s TheaterMax technology which means it is compatible with ANT VR headset just like the Vibe K4 Note. Although, you will need to purchase the ANT VR separately for Rs. 1299. There is also support for IR Blast which supports almost all the DTH service providers in India.
