Ahead of the CES 2016, Lenovo has announced a new smartphone named as the Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite. As the name suggests, it is the younger sibling of the recently launched Vibe S1. The major difference between the two phones is in the front camera. The Vibe S1 features a dual front camera setup with 8MP and 2MP sensors while the Vibe S1 Lite features a single 8MP camera with Sony sensor and LED flash.
In other features, the newly announced smartphone from Lenovo has a lower processor, RAM, storage space, but a bigger battery when compared to its elder brother. Like the Vibe S1, it comes in White and Blue color variants. The phone is priced at $199 (about Rs. 13,253) and will be available from early 2016.

The Lenovo Vibe S1 Lite sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display. Under the hood, it has a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek 6753 chipset coupled with 2GB RAM. It has a 13MP camera at the back which features dual-tone LED flash, phase detection autofocus, and BSI sensor. On the front, you will find an 8MP camera with an LED flash.
The phone offers 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The whole package is powered by a 2700mAh battery and will ship with Vibe UI based on Android Lollipop v5.1. The device measures 145x71x8.5mm in dimensions and weighs 129 grams. It has a hybrid dual-SIM slot and is 4G LTE compatible.
