Lenovo India has announced the Lenovo K6 Power smartphone in India at an event held in Delhi earlier today. As the name suggests, the phone is aimed at offer more battery backup which it should, thanks to the 4000mAh battery.
The smartphone was first announced at the IFA 2016 event alongside the Lenovo K6 and K6 Note. It will be a Flipkart exclusive in India and is priced at Rs. 9,999 which makes it another entrant in an already competitive price segment.
Other than the bigger battery, the Lenovo K6 Power is yet another entry-level smartphone trying to get a piece of your attention. It sports a 5-inch Full HD IPS display. Under the hood, it has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor clocked at 1.4GHz and coupled with 3GB RAM. The phone offers 32GB of internal storage with support for microSD card up to 128GB.
On the back, the K6 Power has a 13MP camera with phase detection autofocus and LED flash. It features an 8MP wide-angle camera on the front for taking selfies. It will be shipping with Vibe UI based on Marshmallow and is also 4G VoLTE compatible. The phone also has a fingerprint scanner at the back which sits right below the rear shooter.
