At the IFA 2016 event, Lenovo announced three new affordable smartphones under its K series. The phones are Lenovo K6, K6 Power, and K6 Note with no ‘VIBE’ branding this time. All the three smartphones are quite similar in what they have to offer except for a few changes here and there.

Lenovo has opted for the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor for all the three K6 smartphones. The phones also feature a fingerprint scanner, dual-SIM support, and run on Android Marshmallow. As for the build quality, they feature a metallic unibody design.

Both the Lenovo K6 and K6 Power sport a 5-inch Full HD display but there is a difference in configuration. With K6, there is 2GB RAM with 16GB/32GB storage options and with K6 Power, there are 2GB/16GB and 3GB/32GB options. On the camera front, both the phones have 13MP and 8MP camera combo. The K6 is powered by a 3000mAh battery and K6 Power has a 4000mAh battery.

As for the Lenovo K6 Note, the phone has a bigger 5.5-inch Full HD display which explains the ‘Note’ moniker. It lets you choose from 3GB/4GB RAM options while keeping the internal storage fixed at 32GB. The rear shooter on this phone is set at 16MP but the front camera is 8MP like other two phones in the series. It features a 4000mAh battery to keep you going for the day.

The exact pricing of each of the Lenovo K6 family members is unknown at the moment. But Lenovo said that the K6 will become available for purchase in two weeks while the K6 Power and K6 Note will land in the market by October and November respectively.
