Hong Kong-based Infinix has announced its latest smartphone Zero 5 at an event held in Dubai moments ago. This new offering from the company is all about giving best specs and features at a relatively affordable pricing, a strategy which we have seen many other Chinese smartphone makers following in India. This is the newest release from the company after making its debut in the Indian market with the Infinix Note 4 and Hot 4 Pro in August.

The Infinix Zero 5 sports a 5.98-inch Full HD display with traditional 16:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it has the MediaTek Helio P25 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM. There are two variants of the phone, one with 64GB storage and another with 128GB storage. Both these variants offer microSD card expansion as well.

On the back, there is a dual camera setup comprising of a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 13-megapixel telephoto lens and a LED flash and Bokeh effect support. There is a 16-megapixel front camera with LED flash for all the selfie lovers out there. The whole package is powered by a huge 4350mAh battery which should last you for a day with ease. It will be running Android 7.0 Nougat layered with Infinix’s custom skin.

The Infinix Zero 5 has been priced at Rs. 17,999 for 6GB/64GB variant and Rs. 19,999 for 6GB/128GB variant. It will go on sale exclusively via Flipkart starting November 22nd in India. It is worth mentioning that this is only the second smartphone in the country to offer 6GB RAM within in this price range. The first one was the Coolpad Cool Play 6 which currently costs Rs. 14,999.
