HTC has launched its true flagship of the year named HTC U11+ earlier today. It is the first smartphone from the company to feature an 18:9 bezel-less display like many other phones including the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Google Pixel 2 XL. And as you might have expected, the Plus sign means that it does everything HTC U11 does but more and in a better way.

The HTC U11+ sports a 6-inch Quad HD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) Super LCD 6 display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and DCI-P3 Wide color gamut support. Under the hood, it has the 2.45GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 4GB and 6GB of RAM options. It offers 64GB and 128GB storage with support for microSD cards.

On the back, you will find a 12-megapixel UltraPixel 3 camera with f/1.7 aperture, UltrSpeed autofocus, optical image stabilization, and dual-LED flash. There is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an 85-degree field of view and f/2.0 aperture. The whole package is powered by a 3930mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging and will be running Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. It also has a fingerprint scanner, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5, NFC, and IP68 certification for dust and water resistance.

The HTC U11+ comes with improved Edge Sense functionality. It now has newly added Edge Launcher which makes it even easier for you to access your frequently used apps and accomplish other tasks as shown in the image below.

HTC has priced the HTC U11+ flagship at €799 with an option to choose from Amazing Silver, Ceramic Black, and Translucent color variants. Each order will also come with free HTC USonic earbuds featuring active noise cancellation. The flagship further has BoomSound speakers to offer premium audio experience.
