The official launch for Google’s upcoming Pixel 2 smartphones is not too far away, in fact, it is on October 4th which is just one week away from now. But thanks to an Android Authority report, we already have a better idea of what to expect from the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL smartphones. Let’s have a look at what the report mentions.

Pixel 2 XL Specs Leak:

  • Quad HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and Wide Color Gamut (size unknown)
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with unknown amount of RAM
  • 64GB or 128GB storage option
  • Dual Pixel cameras (one on the front, one on the back) with OIS and Google Imaging Chip
  • 3520mAh battery
  • IP67 rating for water and dust resistance
  • Dula front-facing speakers but no 3.5mm headphone jack
  • Android Oreo
  • Active Edge feature (squeeze left side of the phone to trigger Google Assistant or mute incoming calls/alarms)

Pixel 2 Specs Leak:

As you can see that there is not much to differentiate between the Pixel 2 XL and Pixel 2 but we will still have to wait until the official launch to see how much of this new report actually comes out to be true.
