A couple of real-life images of the alleged Google Pixel 2 have appeared in the latest leak which has been shared by GSMArena. The team got their hands on these images through an anonymous tipster who also mentioned that there is no 3.5mm headphone jack present on the next-generation Pixel smartphone.
Coming to the images, one of them shows the Pixel 2 from the front and another one from the back. The first image gives an idea that Google made slight changes to the overall design when compared to the original Pixel from last year. You can notice that the newer model has a more rectangular design and also wider top and bottom bezels. Interestingly, there are also cutouts for speakers which hint at the presence of stereo speakers. If this turns out to be true, you can expect better audio output and experience from the Pixel 2.
As for the back panel, you can see the single rear camera along with dual-LED flash and a fingerprint scanner at the bottom. The glass panel on the back has been reduced in size which covered almost half the area on Pixel. The overall in-hand feel of the smartphone is claimed to be better than the existing offering.
Additionally, we got to look at different alleged color options for the Pixel 2, thanks to a bunch of renders obtained by folks at PhoneArena. These renders are based on previously spotted live photos of the upcoming Pixel smartphone. You can have a look at all of these color options in the slideshow below.
On the technical specifications front, the upcoming Pixel 2 and Pixel XL 2 are expected to be the first smartphones to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 836 processor. These are said to sport a 4.95-inch and 5.99-inch Quad HD display respectively along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. You can also expect to have Always on Display functionality this time around.
