The Chinese smartphone maker Meizu has announced the start of a contest for Indian fans in which they can get to win a Meizu m2 smartphone for only Rs. 1. The contest is named as #m2for1 and it will go on from December 15 to December 21.

To participate, Meizu has asked people to visualize where they would like to see the ‘Meizu’ logo. After this, they have to implement their idea by printing, typing, or inking the logo at an unusual place. When done with this step, the final step is to take a picture of the creation and post it on Meizu India’s Facebook page along with the hashtag #m2for1. ┬áThe phone generally sells for Rs. 6,999 (about $104) in India.

The Meizu m2 sports a 5-inch HD display with Dragontrail glass. Under the hood, it has a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6753 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM. The phone has a 13MP rear shooter and a 5MP front shooter. It offers 16GB of internal storage with support for microSD card up to 128GB. The whole package is powered by a 2500mAh battery and ships with Flyme OS v4.5 based on Android Lollipop v5.1.
