Coolpad has launched a new budget Android smartphone in India named as the Coolpad Note 5 Lite C. It boasts of features like a fingerprint scanner, latest software, and support for 4G VoLTE connectivity which it is offering for a budget price of Rs. 7,777. This is the first Coolpad smartphone which has been made available exclusively via offline stores. The company has previously launched phones online in partnership with Amazon India.

Talking about the build and design, the Coolpad Note 5 Lite C sports a metallic finish which makes it look premium for the asking price. It does not offer any physical button on the front which means you have on-screen buttons for accessing Menu, Home, and Recent Apps options.

The Coolpad Note 5 Lite C sports a 5-inch HD IPS display which means a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It comes with the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor clocked at 1.1GHz and clocked with 2GB of RAM. There is an 8-megapixel rear shooter with f/2.4 aperture and LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front shooter with f/2.4 aperture.

The whole package is powered by a 2500mAh battery and will be running Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the back and right below the rear camera. It has been made available in Gold and Grey color variants. The phone will go on sale starting August 5th via 3000 multi-brand stores across in Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, and Maharashtra.
