The Asus ZenFone Zoom S is the latest photography focused smartphone from the company which has been launched in India. The USP of the phone is its dual rear cameras with up to 2.3x optical zoom and a huge 5000mAh battery. It is the rebranded version of the ZenFone 3 Zoom which was announced earlier this year.
The dual camera setup on the ZenFone Zoom S comprises of two 12-megapixel sensors where the second lens is aimed at offering better zoom. The first is a wide-angle lens with f/1.7 aperture and the second lens is capable of offering up to 12x overall zoom and 2.3x optical zoom. It is also packed with optical as well as electric image stabilization for shake-free photos and videos along with support for 4K video recording. There is also a complete manual mode for those who love to tinker around with camera settings for clicking that perfect shot. As for taking selfies, it offers 13-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture.
Other than this, you will get a 5.5-inch Full HD AMOLED display with Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor and 4GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 64GB of onboard storage with support for microSD cards. It will be running Zen UI 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box but will soon be receiving an upgrade to Android 7.0 Nougat.
