After much anticipation and tons of rumors and leaks, the LG G6 has finally been made official at MWC 2017 in Barcelona. The latest LG flagship is different from the predecessor LG G5 in a number of ways, especially in the design department where we don’t have the modularity anymore.

The LG G6 is the first LG flagship to come with a full metallic body and glass on the back which gives it a premium feel. The USP of the LG G6 is its Full Vision display which is basically a 5.7-inch Quad HD display within a relatively smaller body. This results in an uncommon 18:9 aspect ratio (or you can say 2:1) which offers more visible content on the display without having to hold a bigger or cumbersome phone in hands.

The LG G6 is the world’s first smartphone support Dolby Vision HDR10 technology for better picture and video quality. It features improved 32-bit Quad DAC for a premium audio experience. LG has also partnered with Imangi Studios to make sure that their next game Temple Run 2: Lost Jungle arrives first on the flagship. The developers are also offering about 650,000 coins which are more than enough for unlocking all characters and powerups. Additionally, LG and various game developers have collaborated to offer free in-game content worth $200 to all LG G6 buyers.

The LG G6 is also the first non-Pixel smartphone come with Google Assistant. Both LG and Google have closely worked together for optimizing Assistant on the brand-new LG G6. Users will be able to trigger Assistant by either tapping and holding the Home button or simply saying, “Okay, Google.”

As for LG G6 specifications, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with 4GB RAM and option for 32GB/64GB internal storage. There are 13MP dual rear cameras with f/1.8 and f/2.4 aperture (125-degree wide-angle lens) with laser autofocus and LED flash. On the front, it has a 5MP camera with f/2.2 aperture.

The whole package is powered by a 3300mAh battery with fast charging and will be shipping with Android Nougat 7.0. It also features a fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port. The LG G6 is also IP68 certified which makes it dust and water resistant.

The LG G6 will go on sale first in South Korea starting March 10. It has been priced at KRW 899,900 (around $796 or Rs. 53,097).
