We are only a few days away from the official LG G6 launch but it seems like it will not actually be the true LG flagship this year. The upcoming smartphone from LG’s V series, supposedly named LG V30, is appearing to be the flagship offering for 2017.
As per new rumors coming from Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo, the LG V30 is said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 coupled with 6GB RAM. If true, this is certainly a significant improvement over the LG G6 which will come with Snapdragon 821 processor. And while the LG V20 comes with dual cameras on the back, the V30 is reported to come with dual cameras on the back as well as the front.
And in another improvement over the predecessor, the LG V30 is said to come with an upgraded DAC for better and premium audio experience. It means the upcoming V-series smartphone will be a treat for audiophiles again.
While we the LG G6 launch is just around the corner, we will have to wait quite longer for the release of the V30. LG usually launches the V-series smartphone in the second half of the year which means it will most likely launch the V30 around the same time. And until that happens, we would suggest you take all these rumors with a pinch of salt.
