Moto M metal smartphone launched in India, starting at Rs. 15,999

Motorola has finally launched its first all-metal smartphone named Moto M in India. The smartphone has been made Flipkart exclusive and will go on sale starting December 14th at 11:59 PM IST. There are two Moto M models with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage & 4GB RAM and 64GB storage priced at Rs. 15,999 and Rs. 17,999 respectively.

The Moto M features all-metal body design which is also splashproof. Don’t confuse it for waterproof as the smartphone is resistant only to spills and splashes or little rain. It also boasts of Dolby Atmos audio enhancement that should give you better audio quality.

Talking about the specifications, the Moto M sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with 401PPI pixel density. Under the hood, it has an octa-core 2.2GHz MediaTek Helio P15 chipset with Mali T860mp2 GPU. Both the 32GB and 64GB models of the phone support microSD expansion up to 128GB.

In the camera department, it features a 16MP rear shooter with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, and dual-LED flash. On the front, it has an 8MP camera with 1.12um pixel size. The whole package is powered by a 3050mAh battery with fast charging and ships with Android Marshmallow v6.0. It also features USB Type-C port for charging, 3.5mm headphone jack, and fingerprint scanner.
