After Samsung Galaxy Note 7’s disastrous failure, everyone’s eyes are set on the company’s next flagship Galaxy S8 which will be┬ácoming to the market in the first half of the next year. Samsung is also said to be working on the next Galaxy with plans of bringing a lot of crucial hardware changes to the table. Now as per latest rumors, the Galaxy S8 is said to feature a 5.5-inch 4K display with 6GB RAM and optical fingerprint scanner tech.

This is not the first time that the Galaxy S8 has been rumored to feature a 4K display which has been seen only on a few handful of smartphones. But it surely a first appearance for the display size of the phone which is most likely to be a curved edge one like the Galaxy S7 edge. As for the 6GB RAM option, there is a good probability that it might be true because it has recently launched the Galaxy C9 Pro in China which was the first Samsung smartphone with 6GB RAM.

The last interesting rumor for the day is that Samsung is tipped to go for optical fingerprint scanner tech for the Galaxy S8. The information regarding this is quite vague at the moment but the tech is said to be faster and more accurate than the ultrasonic fingerprint scanner tech found in Xiaomi Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 is expected to go official during the first half of 2017, most likely around the MWC 2017 event in Barcelona. We will keep you updated as more information will appear.
