As expected earlier, Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched its most affordable Moto G4 smartphone, the Moto G4 Play in India. The phone was launched at an event held in Delhi earlier today and like other two Moto G4 phones, it will be exclusive to Amazon India at a price of Rs. 8,999.
As it is the most affordable variant the Moto G4 family, it features entry-level specifications but does not offer much when compared to the competition. The Moto G4 Play sports a 5-inch HD display. Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC coupled with 2GB RAM. The phone has an 8MP rear shooter with a 5MP front shooter.
The Moto G4 Play offers 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The whole package is powered by a 2800mAh battery with fast charging. On the software front, it runs on Android Marshmallow v6.0.1. It has been launched in Black and White color variants.
