We have seen Google pushing out a number of updates for its different apps on the Android. Some of those updates bring new features while others bring some nifty user interface changes which make the user experience better. One such UI change is being rolled out to YouTube app on Android which makes the user experience better.

YouTube has changed the way it shows search results for any singer’s name. Earlier, when you used to search for any singer, the app used to show you his/her channel along with subscriber count followed by videos. Now, YouTube has started showing two playlists at the top, All song and top tracks followed by list of albums of that particular singer. You can swipe through the list to see all the albums. When you will tap on any of the two playlists or the album, YouTube will start playing all the videos for you.

See the screenshots above for a better understanding:

You can see that it is not a major change but it is a handy one which makes sure that you start listening to your favorite singer straight away with no need of going through the search results or to the channel and then look out for the videos.

So, what do you think of this UI change? Have you received the change on your device yet? Share your thoughts with us using the comments section below. I would love to hear from you.
